Our clients came to us with the desire to extend their holiday home, maximise the existing spaces and provide a fun filled living area for family and friends that would command incredible views over the Samoëns valley and the Grand Massif ski resort beyond. The extension would also provide two further bedrooms both with ensuites, one of which is the master suite on the first floor of the extension that has a private staircase.

The constraints at the back of the site limited any significant extension to be predominantly to the front and southern aspect. This lent itself to reorientating the living space and master bedroom in the extension to allow 180 degree views, and create a prominent new entrance foyer. Externally new vertical cladding and painted render modernise the property with the addition of glazed balconies to enhance the views and quality of light.
