One component of my design work that I would like to share with you is the selection of “hard interior finishes”. In the interior design world, hard finishes consist of the materials applied to flooring, walls, ceilings, cabinetry, and countertops. Thus, the more permanent aspects of interior design as opposed to soft furnishings. I believe that these components accentuate the design of the structure of the building and the spaces within it and so much can be expressed through the selection of hard finishes. I am often involved in selecting materials for my clients and in this selection of photos, you'll find a snapshot of how interior design elements translate into a beautiful, finished product.
