1990s - design & supervision of stand construction
This is a selection of the exhibition stands that I designed from 1985 to 1992. Exhibition stands in the 1990s were a key marketing tool. They were extravagant and expensive investments and competition in the market was fierce, so my designs had to achieve stand-out. Often the company I worked for was pitching for work in competition with other agencies and my designs had to have the wow factor to win the project. Companies at that time spent a lot of money on their stands and although most stands were dismantled and discarded after the exhibition, some clients briefed me to create stands that could be reused at several exhibitions such as Aldus and Hilly in the gallery below.
